Terms and Conditions

Shipping

Domestic orders can take up to 5-6 business days, (or longer depending on the circumstances).

International orders can take up to 5-15 business days, (or longer depending on the circumstances).

If your package has not arrived a week after it has been shipped by ET Pottery, please contact ET Pottery immediately so an attempt can be made to fix or find the package. ET Pottery cannot track each package individually and confirm that it has arrived correctly. If the customer contacts ET Pottery one month or more after the shipping date, postal services normally do not refund shipping or insurance a month or more after shipping date.

If you would rather pick up your order in person in Minneapolis, Minnesota please submit a contact request form to arrange this.

ET Pottery will aim to have orders sent out as quickly as possible. Occasionally, due to events/timings/number of orders, it may take a few days before parcels are shipped out. Please be patient - this business is run solely by one person. If for any reason there are delays in sending work out from the studio, ET Pottery will reach out to the customer.

When an item is sent from the ET Pottery studio to be shipped abroad, it is within the jurisdiction of the receiving country’s postage service and customs. If for whatever reason something goes missing, please contact ET Pottery and the postage companies. ET Pottery will make an effort to help, but occasionally things can go astray (in which case please get in touch to arrange a refund or for another order to be sent out). This happens very rarely, and any instances of breakage/missing items are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Orders shipped outside of the United States are shipped DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). Customs and import duties are charged once the package reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the package. ET Pottery has no control over these charges, and cannot provide customers with a charge estimate, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges. The customer must take full liability for any packages returned to ET Pottery due to unpaid customs charges. Postal charges, return shipment costs, customs charges and handling fees will all be deductible from any refund due.

If the customer provides the wrong shipping details and fails to identify the error until after the package has been shipped out by ET Pottery, then the lost package is the customer’s responsibility. Occasionally, an incorrect address can be rectified, and ET Pottery will attempt to resolve the error. In the event the package is lost or missing, ET Pottery will not offer a refund.

Additionally, if an order is purposefully sent to a colleague, friend or family member, with the intention of it then being forwarded to the customer, if the box is lost or damaged during this second round of transit (that ET Pottery is not involved with), ET Pottery is not responsible for any loss or damage, and therefore will not offer any refunds.

For example, if a US based customer has an ET Pottery order sent to their family in the UK, and the UK party subsequently forwards the package to the US as a gift, (without commercial invoices, etc.), if the package is lost or broken when shipped from the UK to the US, ET Pottery is not responsible and will not reimburse the shipping cost or the pottery itself.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are only accepted if ET Pottery accidentally ships out the wrong item to the customer. If this does occur, please contact ET Pottery for rectification of the error. If the product has been used, ET Pottery cannot refund or exchange it due to the nature of the product. I do not offer full refunds (partial refund is dependent on situation). Any instances of breakage/missing items are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Caring for Products

ET Pottery work is highly fired stoneware, which may be more susceptible to chipping compared to mass produced wares. Products are designed for everyday use; however they are handcrafted items that therefore require more care than mass produced ceramics.

Please be careful with your products - wash them by hand if possible and refrain from using any strongly staining foods/liquids with them. It helps to wash them quickly after use and if you can, do not leave liquid in them overnight or for long periods of time. ET Pottery products can go in the dishwasher and microwave, but it is best if they are washed by hand, as they are not as durable as factory ware.

Some pieces may appear differently from website pictures if there is a quantity option available for purchase for the specific item. All pots are handmade and therefore subtle differences are expected from item to item. On pots listed without a quantity option, products should appear as pictured.

Shop Updates

The ET Pottery online shop is usually restocked in large batches from time to time. There are no specific timelines that are following. Announcements of when the shop will go live can be found by signing up for the ET Pottery newsletter or viewing the ET Pottery Instagram account.

In addition to the online shop restocks, items can be purchased at several in person locations and art fairs. Click HERE for more information on where to find ET Pottery for sale.
